Dr. Goravanchi has been part of the Las Vegas and Nevada community for more than 15 years during which he has been actively helping improve the community by participating in a variety of programs such as Habitat for Humanity in Las Vegas and the Student Outreach Clinic in Reno. He got his undergraduate degree in Biology at UNLV. He attended University of Nevada School Of Medicine where he completed his M.D. degree. He then spent 4 years of Psychiatric Residency in Las Vegas where he worked in a variety of setting including inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient care and consultation services at UMC hospital. He also served as a chief resident during his training with UNLV school of medicine. 

 

Dr. Goravanchi is fluent in English, French and Farsi thanks to his diverse background. He has been serving Las Vegas residents in both clinic and the hospital settings since his graduation in 2019.

 

Dr. Goravanchi's holistic approach to mental health uses a combination of different psychotherapy modalities, as well as medication therapy in addition to other drug-free treatments such as Alpha-stim electrotherapy, and EMDR. He believes mental health treatment to be a journey where the physician helps guide the patient to the destination through cooperation and empathy.
